The DISA U18 Reign/T-Steak won the 6v6 Frost Bite Cup championship this past weekend in Savannah. With a record of 3-0-1, scoring 18 goals and conceeding only 6 in the cold rain and muddy fields, the result was a huge accomplishment. Players included Reign team members: Alex Holly, Dustin Merli and Brett Partridge. Along with DISA's Coach Brian McGilvray, guest players were Max Holly, Chip Alexander, Troy Alexander and Jim Tatum.

The team was undefeated and untied during the tournament, and they beat the CFC Redstar Premier Team 2-0 in the championship game Sunday afternoon.
This was the third tournament the boys have won during this club season this win took their total year to date record including the regular Club Challenge Season to an impressive 24 wins, 1 loss, and 2 ties. The team had earned a National Ranking of 47th prior to winning the Savannah Cup.

We are very proud of each of our players that performed their hardest this past weekend.
Great job by u16 Sting playing undefeated in the SCYSA PMSL State Cup.
DISA Sting played Sumter United and won 5-2, then continued on their streak, winning their next match against LCSC United 5-1. Dominating their competition, advancing to the finals by beating CESA 2-0. They closed the 2009 PMSL state cup, bringing home the trophy by beating Coast FA 93 Black. Job well done!
