Evaluation/ Try-outs
Academy
Evaluations are used to evaluate players during speed/agility
exercises, technical exercises, small-sided games, and scrimmages. The
professional staff, age group coaches, and guest evaluators will use
this time to determine the ability of each player for placement on the
appropriate team for the upcoming seasonal year.
Tryout Sign-Up is offered in two ways. There will be an online sign-up prior to tryouts available.
All families are strongly encouraged to sign-up
online prior to tryouts to save time when checking in at the fields.
The other way is to sign-up on the day of tryouts at the fields- walk-ups welcomed. Come learn the DISA way!
Players should plan to
attend as many try-out dates as possible to give the coaches the best
opportunity to see them in action. Some players will learn their status
before the end of tryouts, but not all. The selection process is very
difficult and the coaches put a lot of time and effort into the
selection process. Please allow the coach up to 48 hours after the last
day to contact you.
